entities. My decision was based mainly on the advice of a YouTuber I follow who also uses SiteGround, and I have zero regrets. In terms of tech background, I have NONE, and the customer service they provide is quick, friendly and patient.

HORRIBLE Support

I transferred my domain to them and they said that they would take care of all DNS records as well. Well, my email went down because they DID NOT ADD ...

ANY OF THE RECORDS. I contacted support but they didn't have someone who could update DNS on the weekends. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? My email was down an entire weekend because of these idiots. There was a mass outage several months back and they provided no details. They also sent a useless "status" email out to customers but they didn't BCC the customers and so I could see every single customer's email address. I swear this service is run by a bunch of amateurs. I'm having another issue currently and their web site won't even let me open a ticket because there's an error with their support software.

Appalling service

SiteGround restricted access to emails and our website with 14h notice, as the plan was insufficient. The upgrade was worth £40. This is highly unprof...

essional, as small businesses rely on using their email constantly and the website needs to be functional. Surely there are many ways of getting £40 out of your clients in a civilised manner, other that sending a random email and then stopping all services within 14h. We will definitely be changing providers and strongly advising our partners against using SiteGround.
